On April 28, at the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, Page One Publishing was awarded the 2010 Business Leadership Award.
This annual event is Greater Victoria’s most prestigious business event and highlights the very best companies in the city (see below for official press release).
Page One Publishing Inc., established in 1998, is a full-service publisher of magazines for the tourism, grocery, business, and lifestyle sectors. Page One is well known for its commitment to quality publications and exemplary customer service and is one of the few local publishers to print on Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified paper using vegetable-based inks.

Chamber Celebrates Outstanding Performance at Chamber Awards
(News Release) VICTORIA – The cameras were flashing as the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce celebrated the accomplishments of local business in the Greater Victoria Business Awards last night at the Fairmont Empress Hotel.
Awards were given in 12 categories as well as the awarding of the Governors’ Lifetime Achievement Award to Gordon Denford of Berwick Retirement Communities.
“It is fantastic to recognize and celebrate the hard work and success of the business people in our community, says David Marshall, acting chair of the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce. “After what was likely the hardest year in business that many can remember, a time to applaud those who have made such great contributions to our community is well-warranted.”
