Harbour Air and Westcoast Air are pleased to announce the acquisition of Whistler Air.
The purchase, which will involve no interruption of Whistler Air’s services, will enhance the choices of tourists and commuters to travel between Whistler, the Lower Mainland, and Vancouver Island.
“We are pleased that Whistler Air is joining the Harbour Air and Westcoast Air family,” says Harbour Air vice-president Meredith Moll. “Whistler Air’s schedule will not only continue — it will be augmented by the sales and marketing team at Harbour Air and Westcoast Air.”
Whistler Air’s single DeHavilland Ottter, with a capacity of 12 passengers, will be added to the Harbour Air/Westcoast Air fleet of more than 50 aircraft. The integration of services means scheduled flights to Whistler can be increased as the growing market requires in the months and years ahead.
Whistler Air, operated by Harbour Air, will continue to offer scheduled service, charters, and scenic tours. British Columbians and visitors will also be offered unique tour packages between Vancouver Island, the Lower Mainland and Whistler.

Harbour Air/Westcoast Air is the world’s largest seaplane airline, with scheduled service to Whistler, Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo, Comox, Sechelt, Richmond, and the Gulf Islands. Whistler Air, with a base on Green Lake in Whistler, has been in service for 27 years.
